Overview
The Hotel Assassination begins Lester's optional assassination strand for Franklin. Lester instructs Franklin to kill a Betta Pharmaceuticals executive staying at a city hotel. Completing the hit affects in-game stock prices, with Lester advising players to invest before the mission. Additional assassination jobs unlock after major story milestones.
Walkthrough
1. Receive Lester's text and travel to the hotel vicinity. 2. Take a sniper position overlooking the pool or balcony area. 3. Identify the target among hotel guests. 4. Eliminate the target with a precision shot. 5. Escape the area and lose any wanted level to finish.
Fail Conditions
The mission fails if Franklin dies, if the wrong person is killed before the target is eliminated, or if the target escapes the hotel grounds.
Trivia
Lester texts Franklin investment advice before this mission. Betta Pharmaceuticals (BET) stock rises after the target dies, a change visible on the BAWSAQ exchange in-game.
