The Bureau Raid
Michael's crew assaults the FIB headquarters to recover stolen files, with Fire Crew or Roof Entry approaches that change infiltration and the finale path.
Overview
The Bureau Raid is a major story heist against the FIB offices in downtown Los Santos. Players select Fire Crew or Roof Entry on the planning board. Fire Crew uses a stolen fire engine to enter the building under emergency cover, while Roof Entry relies on a garbage truck and helicopter insertion from above. Both paths require fighting through federal security to reach the server/data objective on upper floors, followed by a high-rise escape. The mission is central to Michael's debt to Dave Norton and Steve Haines.
Walkthrough
Fire Crew approach finale: 1. Drive the stolen fire truck to the FIB entrance. 2. Enter the building posing as emergency responders. 3. Fight through floors to the data/server room. 4. Collect the objective files or drives. 5. Escape via stairs, elevators, and rooftop extraction. Roof Entry approach finale: 1. Use the garbage truck to position for rooftop access. 2. Rappel or fast-rope into the upper FIB floors. 3. Breach server security and retrieve the data. 4. Fight descending through the building. 5. Reach the ground extraction vehicle.
Fail Conditions
The heist fails if all protagonists die, if the data objective is not secured before the timer expires, if the escape vehicle is destroyed, or if critical crew support is eliminated during combat.
