Taxi Driver
Side activity transporting fares for money — tracked heavily in San Andreas and available in GTA V freeroam.
Overview
Taxi Driver missions start when players enter taxi cabs across the series. Fares request transport to destinations under time limits, paying based on speed and damage. GTA San Andreas required Taxi levels for 100% completion; GTA V lets players take ad-hoc fares for cash without the classic level ladder. Mission progress saves at most checkpoints in supported titles, and the pause-map legend continues to display active objectives while players manage wanted levels or switch protagonists when the strand allows.
Walkthrough
1. Enter a taxi vehicle. 2. Press the taxi mission button when prompted. 3. Pick up the passenger and follow GPS to the drop-off. 4. Avoid crashes that anger fares. 5. Repeat for completion or profit. 6. Review the mission summary on the results screen for payout totals, respect changes, or unlock notifications before returning to freeroam.
Fail Conditions
Excessive vehicle damage, fare death, or timeout fails individual rides.
