Overview
Something Sensible is Ending A, triggered when the player chooses to kill Trevor on the final phone call after The Big Score. Franklin meets Trevor on the Great Ocean Highway under the pretense of a score. The confrontation ends with Trevor's death and Franklin remaining allied with Michael. Cutscenes afterward show government and Weston figures rewarding Franklin while Michael's fate is left cooperative. This mission is one of three mutually exclusive endings triggered by the phone call after The Big Score. The choice cannot be reversed without reloading a save from before the call or replaying the story. Post-game free roam continues with the surviving protagonist roster determined by the ending. Strangers and Freaks progress and property ownership carry over, but some character-specific activities become unavailable depending on who survives.
Walkthrough
1. Select Kill Trevor on the ending phone choice after The Big Score. 2. Drive with Franklin to the meeting point on the Great Ocean Highway. 3. Follow Trevor to the oil field or roadside confrontation site. 4. Fight Trevor during the final struggle. 5. Complete the closing cutscene for Ending A.
Fail Conditions
The mission fails if Franklin dies during the confrontation before the scripted ending sequence completes.
