The crew hijacks a freight train to transport the stolen drill into position for the Obvious Big Score vault breach.
Overview
Sidetracked completes Obvious preparation for The Big Score. Trevor boards a moving freight train, fights train security, and secures cars needed to carry the tunnel drill. The sequence ends with the drill positioned for the underground finale breach. Progress is tracked on Lester Crest's planning board at the garment factory hideout. The equipment or intelligence gathered here is referenced again during the finale briefing. Setup missions do not pay separate completion bonuses; earnings are bundled into the heist payout when the score succeeds. Players may complete preparations in any order allowed by approach selection, but the finale remains locked until all required icons for that path are marked ready on the planning screen.
Walkthrough
1. Reach the freight train departure area. 2. Board the moving train cars. 3. Fight guards and take control of the locomotive consist. 4. Couple or secure the car carrying the drill equipment. 5. Deliver the train to the tunnel entry staging point.
Fail Conditions
Failure occurs if Trevor dies, if the train is derailed before the staging point, or if the drill car is destroyed during the hijack.
