Overview
The Shooting Range in GTA V lets players shoot targets for scores and weapon familiarity at participating Ammu-Nation locations. Story progression tracks range scores under Hobbies and Pastimes; GTA Online uses ranges for weapon challenges and practice. Mission progress saves at most checkpoints in supported titles, and the pause-map legend continues to display active objectives while players manage wanted levels or switch protagonists when the strand allows.
Walkthrough
1. Enter an Ammu-Nation with a shooting range interior. 2. Pay the range fee and select weapon categories. 3. Hit moving and static targets within time limits. 4. Beat bronze, silver, or gold score thresholds. 5. Complete all required range challenges for 100% credit. 6. Review the mission summary on the results screen for payout totals, respect changes, or unlock notifications before returning to freeroam.
Fail Conditions
Failing to meet minimum scores requires a paid retry. Leaving the range cancels the attempt.
