Trevor steals a small submersible needed for the Offshore approach to the Merryweather Heist.
Overview
Minisub prepares the Offshore route for The Merryweather Heist. Trevor hijacks a compact submersible stored near the northern coast. The vehicle is used during the underwater finale to reach Merryweather hardware on the seabed. The mission also familiarizes players with submarine controls used in other ocean content. Progress is tracked on Lester Crest's planning board at the garment factory hideout. The equipment or intelligence gathered here is referenced again during the finale briefing. Setup missions do not pay separate completion bonuses; earnings are bundled into the heist payout when the score succeeds. Players may complete preparations in any order allowed by approach selection, but the finale remains locked until all required icons for that path are marked ready on the planning screen.
Walkthrough
1. Travel to the submersible storage location. 2. Eliminate or bypass guards at the dock. 3. Steal the minisub and launch into the water. 4. Complete any required handling or delivery checks. 5. Deliver the sub to the crew staging point.
Fail Conditions
The mission fails if Trevor dies or if the minisub is destroyed before delivery to the preparation site.
