Hobbies and Pastimes

Optional sports, flight school, and leisure activities tracked toward GTA V 100% completion in the pause menu.

Overview

Hobbies and Pastimes group optional activities required for 100% completion in GTA V story mode. The category includes Flight School medals, Shooting Range challenges, Triathlon events, Tennis, Golf, Darts, Yoga, and similar pastimes listed under Game stats. Each activity has its own completion criteria, often requiring gold medals or winning a set number of matches. Mission progress saves at most checkpoints in supported titles, and the pause-map legend continues to display active objectives while players manage wanted levels or switch protagonists when the strand allows.

Walkthrough

1. Open the pause menu and review Game stats — Hobbies and Pastimes for incomplete items. 2. Visit marked locations such as flight school, tennis courts, or golf clubs. 3. Complete each activity’s win or medal requirement. 4. Repeat for every listed hobby until the category shows 100%. 5. Cross-check with Under the Bridge, Knife Flights, and Wildlife Photography collectibles tracked separately. 6. Review the mission summary on the results screen for payout totals, respect changes, or unlock notifications before returning to freeroam.

Completion Notes

Individual hobbies fail when the player quits mid-activity or fails score thresholds. Flight School requires bronze or better on all lessons depending on completion rules. Sports activities like Tennis and Golf need match wins against in-game opponents.

Trivia

Michael’s domestic tennis court at the De Santa residence counts toward Tennis progress. Flight School is located at Los Santos International Airport. Rockstar documents these beats in the retail mission text, phone scripts, and pause-menu checklist where applicable.
