Overview
Golf in GTA V is a fully simulated minigame at the Los Santos Golf Club. Players select clubs, manage swing power, and play full holes against AI opponents. Story mode counts golf wins toward Hobbies and Pastimes; GTA Online supports multiplayer golf lobbies. Mission progress saves at most checkpoints in supported titles, and the pause-map legend continues to display active objectives while players manage wanted levels or switch protagonists when the strand allows.
Walkthrough
1. Enter the golf club and pay green fees when prompted. 2. Choose match format and opponent difficulty. 3. Align shots using the swing meter for power and draw. 4. Complete all holes with fewer strokes than opponents to win. 5. Repeat until hobby completion requirements are met. 6. Review the mission summary on the results screen for payout totals, respect changes, or unlock notifications before returning to freeroam.
Fail Conditions
Leaving the course forfeits the match. Out-of-bounds shots add penalty strokes.
