Overview
Fresh Meat begins when Wei Cheng's Triads abduct Michael De Santa over unpaid debts and prior betrayals tied to the Los Santos underworld. Franklin Clinton and Trevor Philips track Michael to a slaughterhouse in the Cypress Flats industrial district and launch a joint assault through meat-processing floors and loading bays. The rescue reunites all three protagonists for the late-game federal and heist arcs and positions the Cheng family as a sustained antagonist force alongside Merryweather and the FIB.
Walkthrough
1. Meet Franklin and Trevor at the assault staging point near Cypress Flats. 2. Enter the slaughterhouse and fight Triad gunmen in the processing rooms. 3. Clear each floor while advancing toward the holding area. 4. Locate Michael De Santa in captivity and free him. 5. Escort Michael through remaining hostiles to the exit. 6. Reach the escape vehicles and leave the industrial zone. Tactical note: Narrow corridors funnel enemies into single file. Use explosives sparingly near fuel and machinery to avoid damaging the escape route.
Fail Conditions
The mission fails if Franklin or Trevor dies, if Michael dies before rescue, or if the escape segment ends before all three protagonists leave the slaughterhouse.
Aftermath
Fresh Meat restores the full trio and unlocks Bury the Hatchet along with The Wrap Up prerequisites. Wei Cheng's grudge persists into Hang Ten and the finale, keeping Triad hostility active through the endgame.
