Overview
Franklin and Lamar is the first playable mission in present-day Los Santos. Simeon Yetarian orders the pair to recover cars from buyers who defaulted on credit. The job mixes repossession work with Lamar's competitive streak, culminating in an optional race back to the dealership. The mission introduces Franklin's friendship with Lamar, Simeon's predatory lending business, and the Premium Deluxe Motorsport repo loop that drives early Franklin missions.
Walkthrough
1. Meet Lamar outside Premium Deluxe Motorsport. 2. Drive to the first repo target and take the vehicle. 3. Continue to additional repo locations as marked. 4. Race Lamar back to the dealership (winning is optional but affects dialogue). 5. Return the vehicles to Simeon to complete the mission.
Fail Conditions
Failure occurs if Franklin dies, if required repo vehicles are destroyed before delivery, or if the player leaves the mission area for too long during active objectives.
