Flight School in GTA V is located at Los Santos International Airport and teaches fixed-wing and helicopter maneuvers through a series of lessons. Gold medals across flight lessons satisfy Hobbies and Pastimes requirements for players pursuing 100% completion. Mission progress saves at most checkpoints in supported titles, and the pause-map legend continues to display active objectives while players manage wanted levels or switch protagonists when the strand allows.
Walkthrough
1. Enter the Flight School marker at LSIA after it appears on the map. 2. Select each lesson from the menu — covering takeoff, landing, bridges, and emergency procedures. 3. Fly through checkpoints within the par time for gold medals. 4. Retry lessons to improve medal ranks if needed. 5. Complete all lessons to mark Flight School finished in Game stats. 6. Review the mission summary on the results screen for payout totals, respect changes, or unlock notifications before returning to freeroam.
Fail Conditions
Lessons fail if the aircraft crashes, exits the training corral, or misses critical checkpoints. Helicopter lessons demand tighter hover control than fixed-wing runs.
