Epsilon Program
Michael’s optional cult storyline involving Epsilon tracts, donations, and desert rituals for Cris Formage.
Overview
The Epsilon Program is an optional stranger strand for Michael De Santa in GTA V. It parodies Scientology-style cults through the Epsilon Program website, collectible tracts, paid initiations, and bizarre tasks in the Senora Desert. Michael can donate large sums, wear Epsilon robes, and participate in surreal rituals while Cris Formage narrates pseudo-spiritual objectives. Mission progress saves at most checkpoints in supported titles, and the pause-map legend continues to display active objectives while players manage wanted levels or switch protagonists when the strand allows.
Walkthrough
1. Visit the Epsilon Program website on Michael’s in-game phone after the required story progress. 2. Collect all Epsilon tract pickups hidden around San Andreas. 3. Make the requested donations at Epsilon buildings until initiation missions unlock. 4. Complete desert rituals including the famous tractor sequence. 5. Finish the final Epsilon mission to complete Michael’s cult chain. 6. Review the mission summary on the results screen for payout totals, respect changes, or unlock notifications before returning to freeroam.
Fail Conditions
Failure occurs if Michael dies during ritual segments or abandons required vehicles such as the tractor. Missing tract collectibles blocks progression until all eight tracts are found. The chain requires significant in-game money for donations.
Trivia
Players can spot Epsilon members in robes around Vinewood before starting the strand. The Epsilon website URL appears in-game and mirrors Rockstar’s satirical branding style. Rockstar documents these beats in the retail mission text, phone scripts, and pause-menu checklist where applicable.
