Driller
The crew steals a tunnel-boring machine for the Obvious Big Score approach to breach the Union Depository from underground.
Overview
Driller is the first Obvious-approach setup for The Big Score. Trevor hijacks an industrial tunnel boring machine from a construction site. The drill is later transported by freight train in Sidetracked to position beneath the Union Depository vault. Progress is tracked on Lester Crest's planning board at the garment factory hideout. The equipment or intelligence gathered here is referenced again during the finale briefing. Setup missions do not pay separate completion bonuses; earnings are bundled into the heist payout when the score succeeds. Players may complete preparations in any order allowed by approach selection, but the finale remains locked until all required icons for that path are marked ready on the planning screen.
Walkthrough
1. Travel to the construction yard with the drill. 2. Eliminate or bypass site security. 3. Steal the tunnel boring machine. 4. Drive or tow the drill along the marked route. 5. Deliver the drill to the train loading area.
Fail Conditions
The mission fails if Trevor dies or if the drill is destroyed before reaching the delivery point.
