Michael and Trevor return to North Yankton to confront their shared history at Brad's grave, ending in a violent escape from federal and Triad forces.
Overview
Bury the Hatchet is the second and final story visit to North Yankton. Trevor forces Michael to return to Ludendorff and explain the lies surrounding the Prologue heist and Brad's death. Emotional confrontation at the cemetery turns into a multi-faction shootout involving Triads and federal agents. The mission is a turning point in the Michael-Trevor relationship heading into the endgame.
Walkthrough
1. Travel with Trevor to the airport and fly to North Yankton. 2. Drive to the cemetery for the grave confrontation. 3. Survive the ambush when hostile forces attack. 4. Fight through Ludendorff streets to a secondary escape point. 5. Reach the extraction vehicle and return to Los Santos.
Fail Conditions
The mission fails if Michael or Trevor dies before boarding the return flight, or if the escape sequence is abandoned in North Yankton.
Trivia
North Yankton is only accessible during Prologue and Bury the Hatchet. The cemetery and bank from the prologue appear as recognizable landmarks.
