Preparation mission for the Smart Jewel Store approach in which the crew steals a Bugstars pest-control van and uniforms to infiltrate Vangelico.
Overview
Bugstars Equipment supports the Smart approach for The Jewel Store Job. Michael steals a Bugstars van and company outfits used as cover during the Vangelico infiltration. The disguises allow the crew to reach the store without an immediate armed confrontation. This setup pairs with BZ Gas Grenades on the Smart preparation track. Progress is tracked on Lester Crest's planning board at the garment factory hideout. The equipment or intelligence gathered here is referenced again during the finale briefing. Setup missions do not pay separate completion bonuses; earnings are bundled into the heist payout when the score succeeds. Players may complete preparations in any order allowed by approach selection, but the finale remains locked until all required icons for that path are marked ready on the planning screen.
Walkthrough
1. Locate the Bugstars depot or parked company van. 2. Steal the Bugstars van without excessive attention. 3. Collect pest-control uniforms from the vehicle or depot. 4. Lose pursuit if police respond. 5. Park the van at the crew drop-off to complete preparation.
Fail Conditions
The mission fails if Michael dies or if the Bugstars van is destroyed before reaching the stash location.
