Overview
Trevor Philips is the third GTA V protagonist, introduced in Mr. Philips after watching news footage of Michael De Santa alive in Los Santos. He operates Trevor Philips Enterprises from a Sandy Shores trailer with associates Ron Jakowski and Wade Hebert. Trevor’s missions emphasize meth production, arms trafficking, and war with the Lost MC and Triads as he expands toward the city.
Story role
Trevor’s storyline begins in Blaine County (Nervous Ron, Friends Reunited) and collides with Michael in Fame or Shame and Bury the Hatchet. He participates in every major heist requiring three crew members, including Blitz Play and The Paleto Score. Trevor’s instability drives conflict with Michael and Franklin; the player’s ending choice can leave Trevor dead in Something Sensible or alive after The Third Way.
Gameplay
Trevor’s special ability grants heavy damage reduction and stronger melee attacks for a short period, suited to rampages and close combat. Rampages are Trevor-only side activities marked on the map. His airfield and strip club properties become available through story progress. Hang Ten and Minor Turbulence showcase Trevor’s willingness to attack rival factions directly in Los Santos.
